The gist
Portia says that she has told Bassanio that she and Nerissa will go to a monastery until he returns. She then tells Nerissa that they will disguise themselves as men and travel to Venice.

“They shall, Nerissa; but in such habit that they shall think we are accomplished with what we lack.” Portia tells Nerissa they will look exactly like men.
