Romeo and Juliet: Act 1.5

The gist
At the Capulets’ party, Romeo catches sight of Juliet and falls immediately in love with her. Tybalt recognises Romeo’s voice and tries to start a fight – Capulet tells him to stop. Romeo speaks to Juliet and kisses her. After she leaves, they learn that the other is part of the opposing family.

“O she doth teach the torches to burn bright… So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows…”
